Questions about Reminisce
Do I need to organize my photo library first?
No. Reminisce is designed for messy, real-world photo libraries. It does the sorting and selection for you.
Does it work with iCloud Photos?
Yes. On iPhone, Reminisce works through your iOS Photos library, including photos managed by iCloud Photos.
Is Reminisce free?
There is a free plan and optional paid Premium access. Limits and available memories depend on your plan. Web uploads and keepsake PDFs require Premium or another eligible account entitlement. Your account and checkout show current limits, prices and billing details. Read our plan terms.
Does Reminisce send my photos to an AI provider?
With your permission, Reminisce sends OpenAI selected reduced-size photos, capture dates, GPS coordinates and place names where available, photo labels and scores, recurring-person identifiers and names you add, and context from earlier memories. These can contain personal information. Reduced size does not make a photo anonymous. Read the AI disclosure in our Privacy Policy, including retention and processing outside the EEA.
Can I turn AI processing or face grouping off?
Yes. The privacy controls give you a separate choice for AI sharing and optional face grouping. Decline or withdraw either in Settings. Withdrawing AI permission stops new AI requests and new memory generation while your existing account remains accessible. Withdrawal cannot recall requests already sent or automatically erase previously derived data. See your privacy choices and account deletion.
How often will I receive a memory?
You can choose the rhythm that suits you. The concept is designed around thoughtful periodic digests rather than constant notifications.
